In A little testament the director portrays an image of his personal struggle with depression. By a combination of old photos, abstract images and expressionistic nature shots he filmed during his depression, he tries to unravel the hindrances in his life that made him so unhappy. Both memories from his youth and more recent moments come up, whilst he reflects on life in the hope to retain more clarity on the complex struggle of growing up from an innocent child to a confused adult.
This film is part of a combined programme with: May divorce be with you. Both are graduation films from AKV|St. Joost students, two talented up-and-coming filmmakers.
