The last of the Mohicans

Director: Max Ploeg

After having gone through a rough history, maverick Tonny tries to help the needy by starting a driving supermarket. With this relic from another time she promotes ideals such as compassion and solidarity, while being rewarded with uncertainty and financial insecurity. Tonny herself may need this help as much as her costumers. Her values may be as outdated as her business model, still she persists.

This film is part of a combined programme with: The meaning of life. Both films have largely been shot here in the south of the Netherlands, in cities like Eindhoven and Tilburg.
